About Lara

Lara is a Clinical Psychologist who has always had a very strong connection to land, since growing up on a farm outside of Louisville, Kentucky. After a decade of working in overly clinical office spaces, both in the private and hospital sectors, in 2021 she branched out and started an eco-therapy practice, Liminal Place. It feels much more authentic for Lara to be in nature and moving her body while working! Lara also works as a hiking guide in the Eco-tourism industry as a way to up-skill in the logistical side of running programs outdoors. Another interest area for Lara is psychedelic assisted psychotherapy. She believes in the potential for these medicines to reconnect people with nature, and impart wisdom that nature holds.
